Hands down one of the best benefits of staying at Lakewood Camping Resort. You have to get in line around 4:45 pm on the days they are open our else you could be standing in line for over an hour and a half… trust me I found out the hard way, but it was well worth the wait. The Alaskan Pollock, Shrimp, Hush Puppies, Fries and Coleslaw are all amazing. The portions are never an issue either. We normally get 3 combo platters (a mix of all the foods mentioned above for about $12.00 each) for a family of 5 and always have leftovers. You also get a drink included with every platter you order and can pick from sweet tea or lemonade. Tim (the owner) and his family/staff are all very nice and when they can come out of the kitchen to meet their customers standing in line. All in all I love the place and definitely recommend it and give it five stars!

Best fish and shrimp I've had in a very long time. Breading is still crunchy when you get it. Fish tastes clean and fresh, and the guys running it are really nice. Make sure to try it out if you can.

The shrimp was the best thing on the menu. The fish wasn’t that great, I have had better. The fries were fried in the same oil as the fish and you could taste it. I would be cautious if you thought about ordering the chicken fingers. The coleslaw was tasty, I wish they gave you more. The hush puppies were ok. I didn’t like the crab cake but my dad enjoyed it. I like that this place is inside of lakewood camping resort and you can eat almost right on the beach.
